Ingredients:
- Toothpick 6 - 7
- Oil for deep frying
- 2 Sweet Potato, cooked
- 2 Potato,cooked
- 2 tsp Corn flour
- 2 tsp All purpose flour
- 1 Green chilli ,finely chopped
- 1/2 tsp Chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp Black pepper powder
- 1/4 tsp garam masala Powder
- 1 tsp Grated ginger
- Coriander leaves, chopped – 2 tbsp
- Salt for taste
- Corn Flour
- All purpose flour
- Bread crumbs
Method:
Cook potato and sweet potato, peel and mash it well.Make sure there is no excess water.
Finely chop green chilli and coriander leaves.
Make a smooth paste with 2 tbsp purpose flour and required water. It should be like a batter. Not thin not too thick.
Take bread crumbs in a plate and keep it separately.
In a bowl, mix all the items given under"Ingredients for balls"
Now make equal sized balls or cylindrical shape,then roll each ball in corn flour.
Then dip it in the all purpose flour paste.
Roll them in bread crumbs to coat evenly on all sides.then just roll it in your palm so excess bread crumbs fall off.Make sure its coated well.
Heat oil in a kadai and once the oil is hot, drop 2 or 3 at a time.
Cook in medium flame and drain in tissue paper once its cooked.Make sure to drop same shapes at a time for even cooking.Keep turning in between to ensure even browning
Then insert toothpick in each roll .... Sweet Potato Lollipop is ready to eat.....
