Chapathi /Rotis





SOFT CHAPATHIS / ROTIS


Ingredients:

  • 3 Cups Atta
  • 1 cup Water
  • 2 tsp Oil
  • Salt -as required

Method:
  • Add atta and salt in a broad vessel ,make dough by mixing water gradually to the flour,gather it together.
  • Now add oil and knead it for 2 mins.
  • Let it rest for 10 mins.The dough should be soft,non sticky and pliable.                                                                                 
  • Now take a ball of dough and press with your fingers as shown in pic below.
  • Apply a drop of oil or ghee and stuff a small amount of dough inside and close it.
 

 


  • Do the same with the remaining dough .
  • Roll into thin circles,not too thick.
  • Heat the tawa,keep in medium high flame and put the Chapathi.
  • Wait till small bubbles form and turn the side,dont let it brown.
  • Let the other side gets cooked and gets golden brown spots,now turn again.
