CAULIFLOWER PEAS MASALA |
Ingredients:
- 1 medium size Cauliflower / Gobi
- 1 cup Peas
- 1 Onion ,finely chopped
- 2 Tomatoes , finely chopped
- 1 Green chilli
- 2 tsp Ginger garlic paste
- 1 tsp Chilli powder
- 2 tsp Coriander powder
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp Curry masala powder / Biriyani masala powder
- 1/2 tsp Garam masala powder
- Curry leaves
- Coriander leaves
- Salt for taste
- Fennel seeds - 1tsp
- Cinnamon - 1 small piece
- Cloves -2
- 1/2 cup Coconut Milk or fresh cream Optional
Method:
- Clean the cauliflower and make it into medium size florets.
- Boil some water with salt and add the florets close the lid and switch off the flame.
- Now in a kadai add 2 tbsp of oil,fenel seeds,cinnamon and clove.
- Fry Onions,green chilli and Ginger garlic paste,curry leaves in medium flame.
- Add tomato, salt and masala powders and fry till the tomatoes get soft.
- keep frying in medium flame till the raw smell goes off.
- Add the Cauliflower and peas in the kadai and fry it for 2 mins.
- Sprinle some water close the lid and cook in medium flame till the Cauliflower gets cooked.
- Finally add 1/2 cup coconut milk or fresh cream .Its optional.
- Garnish with coriander leaves .
11. Serve hot with Chapathi or Rice.
